Deathwing's Cataclysm shook Azeroth to its very core, leveling cities and bringing mighty kingdoms tumbling to the earth. From the ashes of the disaster, two separate Horde guilds formed a pact, drenched in feather pillows and duvet covers, to band together and combat the forces of the Old Gods. Now, as Strange Bedfellows, this new guild vows to rip the alliance and their shih-tzu-human hybrids a new one for the glory of the Horde, and bring Deathwing and his cronies sobbing to their knees amidst a flurry of pillows and blankets! GET IN BED WITH THE HORDE!!!
Strange Bedfellows is a guild that has been established around the premise that WoW should be fun, not a job, or a loot train. Because of this the guild is very community oriented. We are the guild that we build, and we choose to build one that is fun and friendly.
Strange Bedfellows is a mainly a casual PvE guild, but within our guild we have arena groups, raid groups, and people who stalk the Battlegrounds as well. By casual we mean that we understand and accept that people have lives outside the game and can't always adhere to a strict raiding/gaming schedule. Our schedules allow a flexibility for people who work, attend school and have family commitments, while still allowing for advancement within the game. We are dedicated to building an atmosphere that encourages member development, and desire to be respected and liked for our game play along with our willingness to assist other players. We do not crave glory, simply the chance to play in a fun, friendly atmosphere.
*Strange Bedfellows is a mature content guild, and while no one is turned away due to their age, persons under 18 are advised that we do not censor ourselves and some content may not be appropriate for younger players. |

New Guild Ranks + Potential Officers
|
As stated on the guild message, ranks have been changed to better reflect the current guild situation and activity. The Rank of Blanket Stealer is now a rank for Guild officers, we currently have none. the rank of Snuggle Buddies is now a rank for all officer and guild master alts. The rank of Sleep Talkers is now a rank for members who participate regularly in guild events such as heroics. if you fit into this category, your main, as well as all of your level 85 alts will be at this rank. Everyone else is pretty much at the Bedfellows rank. i have not tampered too much with the lower ranks so they are pretty much the same. new probational members will be at the On the Couch rank for 2 months. at that time the guild master and officers will decide whether to make you a full member or not.
Also, seeing as the guild currently has no officers, i am open to anyone who would like the opportunity. as of now, the two biggest candidates are Vexxah and Kersandwich. Recently they have attended the majority of the event and have been helpful in guiding our groups. Being an officer basically requires you to do as i do. plan events, guide groups, promote guild activity, and attend a majority of guild activities. its really not to complex. Officers will also have a say in all guild decisions.
Anyways, yeah. i felt these ranks better fit the guild i am trying to run. and i also encourage anyone to approach me about being an officer if they are interested. |
